So it should include your key selling points.

Coming back to the question of how many pages I should write my resume? The answer is, it depends on your overall work profile. Employers/Hiring Manager receive 100+ emails and profiles for screening every day. Your resume needs to be strong and at the same time prominent which will help you get a job.

For Fresh Graduates:

If you’re a recent graduate  looking to jump in the corporate world, then you can keep your resume limited to one page. You can add your overall education details and the key skills that you have. Just One page resume is just adequate for a fresh graduate with no work experience to showcase.

Pro Tip: Don’t lie on your resume.

Most noteworthy make your resume short and crisp, add information in bullet points instead of writing it in the paragraph. Along with it make sure you add an active email address and contact number. The ultimate goal should be to catch the attention of the employer.

For Experienced Professionals:

For Experienced Professionals It is impossible to add work profile and details in a one-page resume when you are an experienced professional. You can consider writing a two-page resume to highlight your past work experience and the projects you have handled.

Make sure you don’t add irrelevant stuff like hobbies and interests; instead focus on including key job responsibilities. It is Best to highlight the tools that you worked on, add project details under each work experience section. Remember, Hiring managers only take 6 seconds to look at resume so keep it short, simple and to the point.

For C-Suite Executives:

Consider a three-page resume only if you’re a senior-level executive with 15+ years of work experience. Your Resume must include your entire work experience and projects/challenges you have handled. Also add about your key achievements and leadership qualities. You can also keep one page for Project Annexure, where you can write about all the technical work.

Note that the length of a resume is not the key factor in hiring  but it certainly matters during the screening process of your application. The HR s look for your skill-set and relevant job experience in order to screen your profile. Make sure you do your best to get the attention of your employer.
