A light-emanating diode (LED) is a semiconductor gadget that discharges obvious light when an electrical flow goes through it. It is basically the inverse of a photovoltaic cell (a gadget that changes over unmistakable light into the electrical flow). LED lights are composed of two types of semiconducting material (a p-type and an n-type). Both the p-type and n-type materials are also called stringent materials.
